Thought it would be a quick read, but the content is very scientific. Probably helpful to have dictionary handy. Towards end of book there's diagrams and side by side comparisons. I'm really in awe of this book, and the subject of Melanin. Have a few questions for author, hopefully he will respond. I would've given the book 5 stars but I would've liked to see more scientific information explained in layman's terms. Overall all African Americans should read this book. Period.

It is a pamphlet an should be marketed as such.
OK, I was quite disappointed. There is so many that could benefit from this information. Yet presenting it in such a garbled fashion sucked validity clean out of very significant subject matter. Repair this mishap immediately.

I enjoyed this small gem. Very easy to follow. It can get repetitive but I believe that was intentional in order to introduce facts to the beginner reader. The Science did not get me lost and I felt it was a great overall introduction to Melanin.
PEACE.
This book is great. It’s not the type of book where you’re reading or following a plot of some sort. I would classify this as study text. Nevertheless, i learned a great deal of information as well as reinforce information i may have forgotten prior!
It always perplexed me as to why with all the learning of sciences, not once ever has melanin been discussed or a part of my curriculum growing up in school. This book makes it clear to me why that is. Melanin is our sixth sense and unfortu...more

A concise straight to the point info on Melanin and its functions within our black human. This book has valuable information on how to go about taking care of it and understanding the basics of Melanin. A needed reference. You'll probably need to research some of the medical terms used, or a dictionary. The book is great but I felt it could've elaborated a bit more. It's a great basic book for those who want to understand the chemical key to all life.

Excellent
I gave this the top rating as it is a mind opener for those of us who are proud Africans, and gives the reasons why we in the Motherland and the Diaspora should stay away from caucasoids. We are the opposite of each other and NEVER shall the trains meet.
